Ingredients

225ml apple juice
1 apple, cut into matchsticks/julienned
60ml apple cider vinegar

Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium high heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant but only lightly coloured. Add cabbage and apple juice, and cook, covered, for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add apples and cook, covered, until cabbage is tender, about 5 minutes. This timing will be dependent on the size of your pieces of cabbage. Add apple cider vinegar and cook, stirring occasionally for three minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
