Oakwood Farm in East Sussex has a total of 93 acres, with around 40 acres given over to organic fruit including 12,000 apple trees.
They became fully organic in 2000, sustaining a natural, diverse and healthy balance between the farmer’s crops and the surrounding ecosystem, where wildflowers are seen as contributing to a species-rich environment which is of overall benefit to the orchard.
